I'm on a strict fabric diet leading up to the March 16 BMQG retreat, which will feature a fabric shop hop en route to Maine.
I'm in the midst of several large scrap-centric quilts, but here's my first finish of the year: a baby quilt for a friend from work who's having a little girl in early April. I used Monet's awesome
tutorial for the blocks, and quilted in a V-formation, to mimic the 8 wedges in the center "web". Will post the back once I can get the sunlight (and a helper) to cooperate for longer than 4 minutes. :)

Looks so good! I love those spiderweb blocks. You're going to have to give me a tutorial at the retreat.
ReplyDeleteI love this! What a lucky friend you have. I love Monet's tutorial too and plan to do a big spiderweb quilt sometime this year.
ReplyDeleteOoh that's so awesome! Congrats on breaking the seal and starting a blog!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours in this quilt. What are 'clippity cloppity English films?!
